Meanwhile, the children that were adopted four and five years ago are growing up in British Columbia in our wonderful Asian culture. We recently participated in a fundraising event for the Vietnam Education Society. Most of our adopted Vietnamese children attended - a great group of kids who are doing well. Hopefully, now that Vietnam is open again to adoption by British Columbians, a new group of Vietnam children will be able to stay equally connected with each other and benefit from the multicultural city that Vancouver is.
