Our Executive Director

- Visits orphanages around the world to develop successful adoption programs
- Is an expert on Canadian Adoption Law and advises adoption lawyers across North America
- Is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys
Our Asia Program Manager
- Has worked for many years in the adoption field
- Travels regularly to Asia to monitor the adoption program
- Brings extensive experience in facilitating communication between all parties to adoption
- Has a Masters Degree in Social Work and oversees the Sunrise social workers
Our Africa Program Manager
- Is a Registered Social Worker
- Was born and raised in South Africa
- Brings a unique understanding of African culture and customs
- Has worked in the field of child protection for many years
Our South America Program Manager
- Is a lawyer experienced in supporting adoptive families
- Visits orphanages and establishes programs in Central and South America
Our Domestic Program Manager
- Has over twenty years experience counselling families
- Is a recognized adoption mediator
- Travels throughout BC assisting families in developing collaborative relationships
- Provides post adoption supports
Sunrise Social Workers
We have a team of Registered Social Workers across the province. Our social workers work with you to complete your Homestudy.
All social workers have the Registered Social Worker (RSW) designation and have university degrees in Social Work.
Sunrise Support Staff
There is a an extensive group of dedicated people who work with us at the Sunrise office and around the world to assist you every step of the way.
To support our popular China program we have Cantonese and Mandarin speaking staff on site.
