Of the Birthmother's Day Picnic, one parent wrote:

"This is a beautiful tradition , and it never occurred to me to observe it since our daughter is from China...but you are right. I will take this opportunity to once again give her birthmom the honour that we should and reinforce the message that we are very grateful to her for our beautiful girl."
