• A single person wishing to adopt must be at least 16 years older than the child they wish to adopt
• May be of any religious belief
  

Approximate Waiting Period

Once the adoptive parents' dossier is sent to Kazakhstan, adoptive parents can anticipate being home with their child within approximately 9 months.

Travel

Adopting parents can anticipate 1 or 2 trips spread over 8 weeks.
