The Children
- Live in orphanages
- May be boys or girls
- Are over two years of age
The Parents
- Must be married couples
- Must be at least 15 years older than the adopted child
- Older parents will be proposed older children
- Must be recommended for a child up to 5 years of age
Approximate Waiting Period
Once a dossier goes to Ukraine it may be 6 - 12 months before receiving a date to travel. A child is not proposed until the parents are in Ukraine.

Travel
Usually both parents will be required to travel to Ukraine.
